David K. White, CAE

 

David White is co-founder of Reisman and White and has over 25 years experience in association management with 14 of those years serving as the Chief Executive Officer.   David brings to the company the vision and leadership that have helped many local and state associations grow to their fullest potentials. 

 

David brings a wealth of understanding to the importance of finances and how valuable tying a sound financial plan to the strategic mission of an association is critical to long term success.  Not only are non-dues revenue important to the overall mission of an association, but a solid membership foundation with proven membership recruitment and retention programs are critical to every association.  David has written numerous articles and presented many workshops on the importance of membership recruitment and retention.

 

David has served in various volunteer leadership positions including serving as Board Chairs for numerous state and national non-profit Boards.  He has chaired various committees dealing with finances, technology; membership; strategic planning and non-dues revenue.  David understands the importance of providing volunteers with the latest industry information so that informed policies can be implemented.

 

David is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and currently serves as vice-Chair of the Texas Society of Association Executives.  Mr. White received his bachelor degree and a Masters in Public Administration from Texas A&M University.  He received his CAE designation in 1997.

 

                              

Sherry Reisman

Sherry Reisman is co-founder of Reisman and White and has 8 years experience with associations. Sherry has focused primarily on membership, meetings management, and WEB. Sherry is currently working on attaining her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation.

 

Sherry's expertise and understanding of meeting planning, from 10 persons to 1000, is a valuable asset to any association that wants to maximize its meetings success while minimizing budget expenditures. Her attention to detail will benefit any association with meetings of any size.

 

Sherry is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) both nationally and locally. She is also a member of Texas Society of Association Executives. She serves on committees in both organizations. Sherry earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
